!!!CupNoodles Museum

(See. Yes that is the correct name of the museum!)

We went to Yokohama yesterday to do some exploring and have a little fun! Alex hasn't had much time to really see and experience Japan since he's been deployed most of the time we've lived here  and has worked so much. We went to the !!!CupNoodles Museum where we got to see the timeline of instant ramen and we got to decorate our own noodle cups and make our own! If you make a reservation, you can go to a special "Build Your Own" place and mix your own flavor of noodles; apparently there's over 5000 different combinations you can make. We're going to go back and do that!

We had a great time laughing at all the strange things written on the cups and at the very strange kinds of noodles they have.

This one was just called "WHITE"

Milk Seafood? My favorite!

Decorating our own CupNoodles!

We went for a Castillo Christmas themed one.

When you finish decorating, you get in line and an employee directs you to one of the mixing and packaging stations.

You give them your cup, they put it on top of the dried noodles, and you crank the wheel 4 times to get them into your cup.
Then, you pick your ingredients.
This was ours!

Then they seal your cup with this fancy thing...

Then it's wrapped in plastic and sent on a conveyer belt to shrink wrap it.

Once that's done, you pick it up and take it to this station to wrap it in a bag, pump up the bag to protect it, and tie string on it to carry!

Our finished noodles!

Wearing the noodles like a champ.

Such a fun and goofy afternoon!
