Babymoon in Brizzy!

After Sydney, we flew to Brisbane to meet the GW and more importantly, ALEX!

And of course, the stache is back. WAS back I should say.

There was a Hail and Bail the first night, to say "welcome" to the new guys and "goodbye" to the ones who were leaving. These are the wives who were there!

The second day, we got up and had breakfast (YAY!) and took a tour to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary! We knew there were (obviously) koalas, but we had no idea we'd get to go play with kangaroos too! They're in huge enclosures and you can feed them and pet them!

On the bus on the way there.

A quick stop at Mt. Cootha overlook!

BATS!
This little guy was so funny, he wanted to hold hands with Alex to eat!

Do you see the joey's foot in the mom's pouch? (the one on the right!)

KANGAROUPIE!

Alex has all the photos of me feeding them on his phone and obviously I don't have that, but I did feed and pet them!

Another kangaroupie!

We got to cuddle a koala!haha! Apparently Alex was jealous of me giving my attention to Sergeant...

Alex had watch one day so I wandered around, shopped at Target, and killed time. There was a casino and we played some craps and slots. Brisbane is super preggo friendly; most of the city is smoke-free! It's AMAZING. One night after dinner we walked to Kangaroo Point, it was beautiful!

We went to the Australia Zoo one day too! This was Steve Irwin's zoo, its about an hour south of Brisbane. It was amazing!

They got SO close to the crocs, it was so scary and cool! They fed them birds and taught us about how the crocs work and how smart they are. It was incredible. They also had a TON of live birds at the show, but I couldn't get any good pictures of them. It was so neat!

There were also more koalas!!

BABY KOALA. Oh my.

This guy was so neat. Made me think of a dinosaur!

We got to go right up to the koalas (but couldn't touch them all) and this little guy was wide awake and chomping down on some food!

Selfie with a koala!

I don't know if I've ever really seen one awake and moving, so this was really neat!

petting a koala!

Yes I tried it! I really liked it actually, but Alex wasn't a fan. I wish I had brought some to bring home!

Said goodbye again...just the worst!
