November & December Updates

I've got about 700 projects in the works right now...and I keep thinking "I need to update the blog!" I was talking to my sister about it and thought I'd try to give a quick update on the goings-on since November (it's only been four months since I posted...yikes!) While miss H is currently napping, I'll see what I can do!

November: Hadley got to meet her first family member (outside of us two, of course!) Grandma Linda came to visit!! We had such an amazing time with my mom here; it was so wonderful to see her with Hadley, to get a little break and some extra hands to help; Alex and I even got to go on a date!

(we obviously need some practice learning to pose with a baby...)

Alex went underway again when Hadley was about 5.5 weeks old. Thankfully it was a short one!

The day after Alex left...Hadley smiled her first smile!

BadGirl happened again while my mom was here! Here's the OSC during our "Field Day Games."

We actually remembered to take a picture!

At Bad Girl Ball:

On Thanksgiving Hadley turned 2 months old!

 Thanksgiving with friends!

Alex flew off from the USS Antietam a few days before my birthday. We immediately went to buy a tree and get ready for the holidays!

 Picking out Hadley's first tree!!

On my birthday, we took a train ride, did a little exploring, picked up some french bread from my favorite bakery, had a delicious meat and cheese plate and watched Elf!

Visiting her Dadley at work

Not loving being in her carseat anymore..

We had our friends, Taylor and Charlie, over for a real Thanksgiving meal once the boat got home.

WAY too much food...but it was so good!

Off on Hadley's first Tokyo adventure!

Christmas Eve!

Christmas day! We spent the day in our PJs, talking to family, watching Christmas movies, and relaxing; it was perfect!

PHEW. Sorry for the overload! It was just easier to do a quick recap than to go in depth for each of the adventures we had! More to come...!
