Where in the world is Alex?

It's been a while since we've heard from my other half! Since Australia, the USS George Washington and a TON of other boats (including other branches of the military) particpated in Talisman Saber. Then they booked it over to San Diego for the hull swap! (http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/2015/aug/05/three-presidents-crew-cvn-220/) While he was in San Diego, we (thankfully!) got to chat much more often and got to talk on the phone every day! A hugely welcome change from the very spotty, minimum contact we had while he was on the GW. (It was AWFUL! They were very very busy and comms were down pretty regularly. We talked on the phone maybe 3 times between Brisbane and SD. We'd go days without e-mail, etc etc.)

He also got to see his parents and sister Katie while he was there!

Alex is onboard the USS Ronald Reagan now and they are in transit back to Japan now! FINALLY!
